The Ministry of Science and Technologyrecently unveiled the list of key projectsunder the "Diagnostic and TherapeuticEquipment and Biomedical Materials"category of the National Key R&DProgram for the 14th Five-Year Plan.Among these, the "New Materials andDevices for Minimally InvasiveInterventional Valves" project, led byPeijia Medical, has successfully beenincluded in the key R&D program.

This project marks a significantinnovative achievement in the fieldof structural heart disease. It aimsto tackle the treatment challengesof severe cardiac conditions, suchas aortic valve stenosis andregurgitation, through advancedmedical technologies. Byproviding patients with safer, moreeffective, and durable treatmentoptions, the project seeks topropel the development of theheart valve disease treatmentsector.
